How can a building under construction become a space for art? How can a construction site itself turn into a stage for artists, audiences, and the city? Kampnagel decided early on not to close or move to a temporary venue during the multi-year renovation. Keeping the house and grounds open and making the transformation visible is part of its artistic approach, turning temporary interventions into lasting impulses for the city, the institution, and artistic practice.
