Opera of Hope
Following an invitation to the Radikal jung festival in Munich, and because the world still needs hope, this acclaimed local production returns for a third revival. Combining opera, gospel, choral and solo singing, the music theatre work tells the story of a young Black woman whose journey reflects the experiences of many migrants. Together with the Choir of the Uncivilized Voices, Mable Preach explores migration, belonging, and resilience, confronting enduring violence while asking: How do we carry on when tomorrow threatens to be even worse than today?
