WALKING WITH STARDUST is a project that pays tribute to the legendary Angie Stardust — a Black transgender American artist, social activist, and, to this day, a widely unknown icon of this city. The journey begins at the central station in the West Foyer of Kampnagel with a video that provides a brief introduction to Angie's life. This station also features a compilation of the artist's music, along with flyers and a QR code. The code unlocks a podcast that reflects on the life, work and legacy of Angie Stardust. The flyer includes a map of Hamburg with a suggested route designed as the perfect walk to accompany the podcast. The route can be explored individually; over two days, introductions to the project will be offered, led by Saeleen Bouvar and the Transtonica team, who will guide visitors through biographical, political and poetic traces. WALKING WITH STARDUST was conceived as a collective act of tribute and resistance against forgetting.
