Jarrestadt in Hamburg – a historically significant neighborhood caught between preservation and redevelopment. Since 2020, Jarrestadt has been funded as a project in the federal government's special program “National Urban Development Projects.” The overarching goal is the careful renovation of historic buildings and open spaces to improve the quality of life and residential environment in the neighborhood. The special architectural and open space character of the district is to be preserved and developed in a contemporary manner.
The Hamburg-Nord district office and its cooperation partners invite you to take stock together under the guiding principle “Our Jarreschatz – Looking Back and Looking Forward.”
In a series of keynote speeches and a panel discussion with experts from the fields of urban planning, architecture, and open space planning, we will reflect on the development and renovation of the area to date and outline future design perspectives.
Afterwards, we cordially invite you to a gallery walk showcasing the key project milestones and a joint conclusion with snacks and drinks.
All information and the program can be found online at www.jarrestadt-hamburg.de.
