11.December 2025 – 13.December 2025
Attitudes x Club Dance Culture
From December 11 to 13, Kampnagel will host a themed weekend to mark the conclusion of the nationwide pik (Program Including Art Practice) funding initiative. Two international Kampnagel co-productions will be presented in Germany for the first time, along with a concert, a party, and two community projects.
Much of the program was made possible by pik. Pik is a funding program of the German Federal Cultural Foundation. The program aims to improve the working conditions of artists with disabilities. Cultural institutions are to be encouraged and further empowered to create barrier-free working structures and to promote and present the work of disabled artists. The program is designed to enable artistic innovation and compensate for existing disadvantages for disabled artists. The end of the program is accompanied by an urgent appeal: accessibility in culture requires time, trust, and continuous support. It is painful that this support program is now coming to an end—at the same time, its final phase is intended to honor the work of numerous artists and cultural workers with disabilities at Kampnagel and to remind us that barrier-free working requires long-term perspectives in order to permanently anchor structures.
