With the interweaving of urban dance and contemporary dance, Brazilian choreographer Bruno Beltrão revolutionized hip hop. His energetic, virtuoso dance works are characterized by physical vehemence and an analytical understanding of music and space. In his new creation Beltrão also critically examines the political conditions in Brazil.
