Duduzile Mathonsi

BITCH WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MANIFESTO?! is a one-woman show: written, directed and performed by Duduzile Mathonsi. The solo production investigates the narratives of the black female body and centralises the black female experience, giving space to address the body’s agency, exploring the sexuality and vulnerability of a black woman. Therefore reclaiming and attempting to indigenize space. The work uses space to create different shifts of the spectacle vs. spectator. Eight years ago Dudzile moved from South Africa to one of the northernmost cities in Norway, in that sense her work talks about issues of migration and the idea of home as well.
