Based on the comics of the same name, this animated film tells the story of three 19-year old female friends in Yopougon, a working class district of Abidjan on the Ivory Coast, in the late 1970s. Together they experience life, oscillating between the demands of their parents and their own plans, between morality that is preached to them and the double standards they encounter in life, between the local dance club and the search for the ‘right’ boyfriend.
