A Theatertreffen-recognized »stand-up tragedy« for performance professionals and acting fans.

World-famous pioneers of experimental theater Forced Entertainment have created a small masterpiece of performance art in REAL MAGIC – showing that performance remains theater’s innovative force. Over 80 minutes, the small, radical »festival of acting« (Deutschlandradio Kultur) creates a world of absurd variation and comical repetition where a group of performers find themselves in an impossible situation in which they endlessly revisit moments of defeat, hope and anticipation in true Beckettian fashion. Caught in a never-ending gameshow hell, a world of second-chances and second-guesses, this is a fantastic, challenging evening of theater that takes the audience on a hallucinatory journey about optimism, individual agency and the desire for change.
