Helene Hegemann mit Sophie Rois, Marie Rosa Tietjen und Daniel Zillmann
Götterdämmerung mit Patti
At the age of 13, Helene Hegemann meets Patti Smith in a multipurpose hall in Vienna, where Smith’s friend, artist Christoph Schlingensief, is rehearsing a theater piece. Fifteen years, three award-winning novels and two of her own feature films later, Hegemann has written a book about Patti Smith (and Schlingensief), in which she poignantly tells about her love for the great musician, poet, performance artist, painter and photographer: »A linguistic firework of memory, reflection, research and humor« (FAZ). In German and together with her acting allies Sophie Rois, Marie Rosa Tietjen and Daniel Zillmann she now presents her book live on stage.
