At the first Battle of the Arts Queer Slam, everyone who identifies as queer, is at home in the LGBTQI+ community, or is comfortable with the rainbow will come together on stage! With a poetry slam evening full of lyrics as colorful and diverse as a candy section, and performances as full of feeling and style as a good episode of RuPaul's Drage Race, we'll show you what queer can be all about. But this time we're throwing norms and rules overboard! You can sing and swing your hips. It can be wild and crazy or calm and gentle – the main thing is to feel it and feel good! You ask where you are – well, you have the scoreboards, the applause and thus the chance to choose the first winner of the first Queer Slam. And all this under the moderation of the only true poetry slam gay icon: Christian Ritter!
