Talya Feldman

WIR SIND HIER, a new video and sound installation by media artist Talya Feldman, claims spaces of active remembrance and resistance in the public sphere through the voices and demands of families, survivors, and those affected by right-wing terror and police brutality. Talya Feldman is an artist from Denver, Colorado currently based in Hamburg. Through her intercultural and collaborative practice, Feldman generates social transformation through artistic and educational works that offer alternative and reparative narratives to violence. She has received recognition for her projects combating right-wing terror and in 2021 was awarded the DAGESH art award for the sound installation »The Violence We Have Witnessed Carries a Weight on Our Hearts« at the Jewish Museum in Berlin.
