The Yes Men

They are superstars of the American activist scene: For over two decades, The Yes Men have committed themselves to creating a better world through humor and ingenuity. The Yes Men’s action-art pieces are utopian interventions and clever protests against political abuses. They pulled off their biggest coup on the 20th anniversary of the Bhopal catastrophe when they impersonated Dow Chemical representatives on BBC World, and told an audience of millions that the company would finally take responsibility for the chemical accident, compensate Indian victims and clean up the factory site. In November, The Yes Men are coming to Hamburg to reflect how the future can be shaped in the face of current crises.
