The Gym: Face Pilates with Betül Seyma Küpeli
Betül is a visual artist, trained Pilates and functional trainer and has many years of experience as an individual coach and group trainer. Pilates is a systematic whole-body training of the musculature in which breathing and movement are brought into harmony. Face Pilates works with relaxing and muscle-strengthening elements simultaneously. The focus of this training is on the muscles of the face, neck, larynx, throat and palate. Concentration on the facial muscles and their conscious activation (e.g. of the tongue or the eyes) and stimulation ensure relaxation in the jaw and the release of tension in the face, neck and vocal cords and subsequently in the whole body.
