Adnan Softić: Bigger than Life / Thomas Hawranke: Grand Ape Town

BIGGER THAN LIFE is a music film by the artist Adnan Softić in four acts, located somewhere between reality and wishful thinking. The film’s focus lies on the invention and fabrication of Macedonia’s national history/. Before the sreening of Softić’s film, KRASS presents the third approach to Kafka’s »A Report to an Acadamy« in the form of a short film by Thomas Hawranke. In »Grand Ape Town«, animal and non-animal individuals live together. Though »the animals« were subject to human acts of violence and humiliation, now the chimpanzees are writing the great urban narratives.
