KRASS Kultur Crash Festival 7: KRASSimilation

The KRASS festival takes on the challenge of creating a festival program that conceives of a common society from the position of those crossing the borders between cultures, nations, generations, milieus and styles. KRASS explores access points and draws lines between seemingly incommensurable realities. The “crash” of cultures is the necessary clash of two or more positions that occurs through the shock for traditional thought and behavior; it sets new processes in motion. “KRASSimilation” is the festival’s work concept for this edition, and it is an offer to banish outdated neoconservative identity concepts to where they belong: the past.
