SYRIAN GARDENS

The two Syrians have been living in Hamburg for around a year. As ‘uprooted’ people, collaboration with local artists is really important to them. Berlin and Dresden already have refugee garden projects and, in the future, the Hamburg Avant garden also aims to position itself as more of a community garden. In ARTIFICAL GARDENING, Aboura and Shaaban will integrate with other refugees, to introduce and practice other Syrian garden politics.
