In a lecture to kick off the Asian Diaspora Focus of the Other Europe series, curator, cultural and political scientist and Asian German Studies pioneer Dr. Kien Nghi Ha explores narratives and questions of complex belonging, hybrid identities and transnational communities in the context of Asian-German history and present. After the lecture the evening presents artistic and discursive explorations of resistance and empowerment of Asian diasporas in Europe through a film screening, a panel and a lecture performance.
