Boris Charmatz

Infini

The French dancer and choreographer Boris Charmatz is one of the radical innovators of contemporary dance. Most recently, he opened the 2019/20 season at Kampnagel with 10,000 Gesten, and in 2021, as part of FOKUS TANZ #7, he will show his new work INFINI, with which he sets off into metaphysical realms outside the material world. Charmatz explores mathematical infinity by having the five-piece ensemble produce a numerological litany as a spoken choir.
