Coletiva Profanas

Coletiva Profanas is a trans performance theater collective of Brazilian transgender artists directed and produced by Morgana Olívia Manfrim – the first trans person pursuing a doctorate in Theater in Brazil (USP) – and with scenography and visual direction by Max Ruan. They are travelling through Europe for the first time since November 2023. After an artistic residency at Fleetstreet Theater Hamburg, the collective invites you to a performance followed by a queer party in the Kampnagel Club. Fruits&TRANS-gression: Stories for Tangerines and Seahorses takes place in a lonely talk show setting, where Tangerine shares their experience of understand their own trans identity. Between humour and tension, the performance turns into an experimental space where performers and audience, sounds, lights and fruits get all mixed up. The work debuted in 2018 in São Paulo, has had more than 100 sessions throughout Brazil and will be shown internationally for the first time at Kampnagel.
