Performer, director and choreographer Helen Schröder created her company’s first piece out of a maelstrom of suggestions from her ensemble and ideas of her own. In BEACH BIRDS the performers sample, steal and copy from their choreography idols.

The Hauptsache Frei #4 festival is a high-speed drive through Hamburg’s independent performing arts scene. For the fourth time, the festival is taking artists as well as the audience along for a ride through the Hanseatic city, visiting a different venue every day, Kampnagel and K3 amongst others.
