CEREMONY OF LONGING is a performative ritual by choreographer Diya Naidu, in which she and four dancers take the consequences of the worldwide pandemic, which deeply affected India, as a starting point to re-enter into a shared dialogue with each other after the social distancing. For this purpose, she creates with her performance a space of coming together, in which the audience is invited to share losses, worries and longings that are transformed within the ritual.
