What exactly is the EU, how did it come into being, how does it work and what does it have to do with me? This is the content of the interactive crash course "EU 1x1 - Feeling Europe". The aim is both to convey basic EU knowledge and to approach the EU as a possible crystallisation point of one's own European identity. Due to its relaxed character, the format is suitable as a low-threshold and entertaining, but at the same time informative overview of the European Union and current developments. After a warm-up, knowledge about the EU is acquired in a playful way in a "pub quiz". Afterwards, the participants have the opportunity to empathise with different perspectives of Europeans in two parallel short role-plays and to discuss the topic of "Enlargement and Security Policy of the EU" with regard to the war in Ukraine.
