IN COLLABORATION WITH BRÖCKERHOFF/FRISCHKORN/WOLTEMATE GARDEN STATE*HAMBURG

A huge community garden made up of over 250 potted plants will proliferate at the festival center for four days. A memorial to the pirate republic »Libertalia« (according to the myth, a grass-roots democratic society without slavery, repression and racism), GARDEN STATE*HAMBURG creates an island that simulates a few days in nature. In addition to local protagonists, who will present their discourses and performances, the visitors are invited to take an active part in the days’ events.
