The installation DISAPPEARANCES. APPEARANCES. PUBLISHING examines the Arab novelist Abd Al-Rahman Munif’s private library. During his life, characterized by exile and a constant migration, Munif collected numerous books and publications. FEHRAS PUBLISHING PRACTICES is a publishing collective and venue; it was founded in Berlin in 2015 as an answer to urgent questions relating to the history and present-day situation of publishing in the Eastern Mediterranean region, North Africa and the diaspora.
