Felipe Ribeiro

As a scientist, curator and multi-media artist, Felipe Ribeiro occupies a relatively new but deeply rooted position in Rio de Janeiro’s contemporary art scene. As Professor of Dance and Film at Rio University, he is researching the emancipatory potential of the anus in relation to queer identity and performance. At Kampnagel he will provide theoretical accompaniment to performances of MACAQUINHOS as well as a DJ lecture to connect Brazilian Funk, Queerness and all that is anal.
