»Everything Remains Raw« investigates the deep-structure and Afro-Kinetic memory present in dance practices throughout the African Diaspora, by illuminating an assortment of influential cultural phenomena that helped construct and characterize the movement practices demonstrated in America’s Afro-Latinx communities and the globalization of their aesthetic values. The documentary is an ongoing work of love by Professor Moncell »ill Kozby« Durden. It explores the shared roots of the many dance practices throughout the African Diaspora, from pre-Jazz era through Hip-Hop.
