In a three-day conference, international scholars and people working in the field of dance explore the idea of contemporaneity -- its cultural-political and post-colonial implications, as well as the associated historical conception of dance. Its starting point is the paradigmatic status of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Artist Christin Vahl developed a unique spatial design for the conference.
