AZIMUT – from the Arabic تومسلا , as-sumūt, the paths – is a term from astronomy used in navigation. But do we all see the same stars? In AZIMUT, Hajusom navigates deep into the past of its young performers, who explore colonialism in the world, in themselves, and in their histories. A walk-through installation creates a living archive of story booths, mini-performances, video installations, and sculpture – a decolonial trail.
