Hajusom / Ensemble Resonanz / Jardin Silmandé

The protagonist in SILMANDÉ is the planet. Post-human beings look back on its history, on the splinter in man’s eye and on the ruins upon which plants are growing into the universe. In order to question human beings’ reckless behavior and its effects on the planet, a total of three artist collectives have joined together into a research laboratory: the »Garden Silmandé« project from Ouagadougou that plants trees to thwart raging desertification, the Ensemble Resonanz and Hajusom. Viktor Marek, musical director of Hajusom, Wolfgang Mitterer, one of the leading composers of our time, Ensemble Resonanz and Patrick Kabré, the initiator of the Silmandé Garden, provide the soundtrack.
