With EURO DIVAS, Krista Papista brings a concert to the club that merges experimental electronic music, ritual, and performance. Rooted in her upbringing in Nicosia, Cyprus — a divided island shaped by gentrification, capital, and Tsifteteli culture — the Berlin-based artist combines experimental electronics with Mediterranean and Levantine folk traditions, collaging them with Eurotrash, drum & bass, girl techno, and punk. Infused with mysticism and iconic theatricality, Papista subverts folkloric clichés and pushes genre boundaries into a radical feminist spectacle. Her psychedelic performances unfold through diva goddesses, cyclopean monsters, queer narratives, and spitting rituals, creating a multilayered sonic universe. The result feels like a psychedelic jet-ski ride from the ancient pink marble village of Salamina to the Armenian stars above Mount Ararat — with a stopover at the Summer Festival.
Following the performance, CHINYERE will play a DJ set. The Hamburg-based DJ and producer blends influences from Igbo highlife, punk, and global club sounds into high-energy, bass-heavy sets spanning gqom, hard drum, and UK garage.
