International Summer Festival goes Fleetstreet and presents the underground avant-gardists JAJAJA: Dadaism instead of Dataism!

The underground performance family JAJAJA regularly provide dadaistic highlights with unpredictable art performances during the Kampnagel season and the Summer Festival. This year, they are residents at the Fleetstreet Theater; the International Summer Festival will present two evenings there. Here, the JAJAJAs address the absolute calculability and datafication of people in a digitalized environment (see DISRUPTING DEMOCRACY august 19 + Evgeny Morozov august 23) with the means of art: Dadaism instead of Dataism. In games, rituals and choreographies, they access information that remain foreign to algorithms and translate their collected knowledge for the festival’s audience in tutorials.
