Jenny Beyer

Water doesn’t have a fixed form, and instead takes different shapes. In FLUSS, Hamburg choreographer Jenny Beyer creates an obstacle course that gently breaks apart the fixed demands of a performance. Four dancers begin creating their material at sites of daily choreography: on the street, in the theater forecourt and in the foyer. Jenny Beyer allows a new form of dance to emerge that incorporates the audience’s motivations into the choreographic material. The theater space will become a fluid zone in which the relationship between audience and dancer is destabilized.
