For several years now, the Hamburg-based dancer and choreographer Jenny Beyer has regularly opened up her rehearsals and allowed interested audiences to participate in the creation process of her pieces. This year, Jenny Beyer and her team are once again inviting people to move together in their OPEN STUDIOS. They will provide an insight into contemporary dance and would like to experience it practically in the group. At each meeting, there will be something new to discover and share: an artistic question, a situation, a gesture, a movement or a choreography that develops within the group. Everyone can decide whether they want to join in the movement or prefer to watch. The OPEN STUDIO is aimed at all people who are curious about contemporary dance and who are interested in encountering their own body and bodies in a group. No previous knowledge is required.
