Since 2017, the hashtag #MeToo has become one of the most powerful buzzwords in the fight against gender injustice on social media. Since then, more and more cases have come to light and are being discussed ever more loudly and controversially. The support for people, especially women, who speak publicly about abuse has grown stronger, but the headwinds have also become rougher. Without the revelations of courageous journalists like Juliane Löffler, many abuses would never come to light and those affected would continue to remain silent out of fear. In this debate book, the SPIEGEL journalist takes us behind the scenes of her journalistic work.
