Konferenz zum Status von Künstlern - Schwerpunkt Arabische Welt

Choreographers Aïcha M’Barek and Hafiz Dhaou are key figures on the Tunisian dance scene. Last season they brought two of their outstanding pieces to the THIS AIN’T AFRICA dance festival at Kampnagel. Social situations and cultural cliches drive the artistic research of the artists commuting between Tunisia and Lyon. M’Barek and Dhaou have put together a packed and varied programme for WE DON’T CONTEMPORARY. With VU and SACRÉ PRINTEMPS! they present two dance productions from their own company, CHATHA and they will also bring pieces by Héla Fattoumi and Eric Lamoureux, as well as Moroccan choreographer Radouan Mriziga. They will bring together the artists at the festival and the Hamburg scene, and invite the Hamburg audience both to a public conference and to a club party with the Tunisian DJ, Ogra.
