Winter is setting in in Provence. The landscape is shrouded in fog and hoarfrost. Everything seems peaceful in Sainte-Valérie – until a vacation home is broken into. The perpetrators have fled, but they left one thing behind: a body. PROVENZALISCHE KÄLTE is Sophie Bonnet’s new novel featuring her investigator, Pierre Durand.
A woman is struck by a car on a forest road and dies. The nurse had a violent husband, who immediately comes under suspicion by Commissaire Luc Verlain. In Alexander Oetker’s SILBERKÜSTE, the woman was investigating a series of suspicious deaths among elderly people spending their twilight years on the Côte d’Argent.
Capitaine Roger Blanc has been transferred and is now primarily tasked with solving mysterious cold cases. His first case in Cay Rademacher’s BEDROHLICHE ALPILLES is a murder that took place six years ago: at that time, a family in the Alpilles was nearly wiped out.
