Liv Strömquist

The Swedish artist Liv Strömquist is one of Sweden’s best-known comic artists and most important feminist voices. Her work focuses on her interest in feminist and pop cultural phenomena. In her popular TV and radio formats, she tackles existing social power structures with biting humour and devastating criticism. Three of her graphic novels have now been published in German (Avant Verlag). As part of the Nordwind Festival, a number of selected prints from her books will be exhibited at Kampnagel.
