The ‘Local Heroes’ series opens with ‘Trio Catch’, who are currently performing all around Europe as part of the ‘Rising Stars’ tour. Three female musicians play clarinet, cello and piano. Up until 2014 they were teachers at the Hamburg College of Music. Contemporary music is very close to their hearts, for example the work of Helmut Lachenmann, who will celebrate his 80th birthday during the month of the festival.
