Lucia Glass

With THE SOUND OF IT and most recently SENSATION, Hamburg choreographer Lucia Glass uses her work to inspire us to examine choreography on the borders of other areas, such as sound art or fashion. With DOORPUSHER, she steps into a world of photography and zooms in on the picture »Doorpusher« by Jeff Wall, from which she deduces movement qualities and sequences for three performers. In dialogue with the action of the depicted figure, movement fiction is created, which leaves its traces behind in the stage design. An exploration of the fictional, narrative power of images, that is as analytical as it is haptic.
