Madame Nielsen

Madame Nielsen’s playful handling of gender roles and unassignable self-perception and external perception disturbs and impresses at the same time and blurs clear boundaries of orientation. This makes her/him one of the most controversial, fascinating and diverse contemporary artists* and authors* in Denmark and far beyond. Her novel »The Endless Summer«, published in German in 2018, was enthusiastically received by the press and the public. So it’s high time to finally dive back into the universe of this multi-faceted artist with an evening of music, literature and exhibition.
