The freelance author and migration researcher opened perspectives on perhaps the most important issue of our times and postmigratory societies in the book he published with Tom Holert in 2006 »Fliehkraft. Gesellschaft in Bewegung – Von Migranten und Touristen«. Today, over ten years later and after the »summer of migration« 2015, he continues to work on concepts such as multiplicity and collaboration in addition to subjects such as city planning and education; he describes cultural institutions as new democratic interfaces between individuals and society.
