The hall is prepared, the guests are invited to their seats – only the hosts are still missing. They are stuck in enchanted rooms. When everyone is freed from their rooms, the ball can start. DER BALL is at the same time a conclusion and a new beginning: In the last four years and productions, the artists of the inclusive Hamburg ensemble Meine Damen und Herren have step by step said goodbye to their previous ways of working and set out to become a collective. They experimentally explore the possibilities and opportunities of equal working (also) in structural power imbalances and develop remarkable artistic tools and new aesthetics in the process.
The show on Sat-30.04. will be translated by two sign language interpreters.
