Migrantpolitan

X-Mas Party

Past dates

Wednesday

12/25/19

7:00 PM

Together we celebrate Christmas at Migrantpolitan. The drink of the evening? Arak!

Watch out: The party takes place on 25.12.! The dates in our programme booklet are wrong.

Arak is a distilled alcoholic beverage popular in the Middle East. The drink is often used in social environments and is known for its strength, the aniseed taste and the milky white color that it takes on the addition of water. Arak has a freshness that cleanses the palate and improves digestion. It is often served as an aperitif and also as a perfect accompaniment to a classic selection of mezze. Arak is especially good for the mezze, olives, hummus, salads, spices, meat and nuts.

If you feel like spending a nice evening in a friendly atmosphere, you are welcome to dine with us and drink Arak. The entrance fee is € 20 and includes Mazza and 3 Arak deals. If you want, you can of course reorder more Arak. Please sign up until 15.12. (by mail to anas.aboura [at] kampnagel.de) because we have to take some time to plan everything. Do not forget to bring a present, if you also want to receive a present!

Of course, we would be very happy about your feedback as we would like to organize more such events in the future.

*****************************************

Migrantpolitan is a campaigning space at the Kampnagel site where diasporic and local artists enter into a process of exchange, develop joint transcultural strategies, and test out new forms of aesthetic praxis. This microcosmos is a laboratory for collaboration under conditions of solidarity, where new ideas can be developed, where cultural self-determination has a home, and where a pinch of anarchy is always part of the mix. Many activities are open to the public and you are welcome to join the Migrantpolitan community. For as we all know: integration is not a one-way street – it’s a bring-in, not a take-away!

Entry is free! Everybody is welcome - but it’s a wrong place for the Right people!
