In this overwhelming piece by the young Japanese performance group, theatre becomes a teenidol concert and gives us an insight into an ambivalent aspect of Japanese popular culture. 27-year old choreographer Toco Nikaido invents a radical theatrical aesthetic in the spirit of Japanese teen idol youth culture, presented in Europe for the first time.
