Oliver Frljic

Based on his reading of »The Aesthetics of Resistance« by Peter Weiss’s about the history of the workers’ movement and about the resistance against Nazism, Oliver Frljić paints a disturbing analogy to Europe’s current rightward shift. The Bosnian director, who is known for his politically explosive questions and radical visual language, sees connections between capitalism, terrorism, Islamophobia, fascism, racism and colonialism.
