The third issue of the REFUGEE VOICES SHOW deals with the traumatic experience of crossing the Mediterranean Sea on rickety boats. The people on the boats are often singing against their fear of the unknown. The Media Activist Larry Moore Macaulay made this experience on his own some years ago. Now he got again in touch with the singer who raised his voice in songs and poetry during his crossing. For the REFUGEE VOICES SHOW Sunday Akinrotoye, Juju musician and percussionist, performs the theatrical musical »Alejo – The Stranger«. This TV-show focuses on musicians from several countries who transform fear into sounds. The Show is followed by a talk with Sunday Akinrotoye, Sven Kacirek (musician/composer from Hamburg) and Kool Kray-Z (multi-talented hip-hop artist and former Xfactor participant) who discuss the question of transforming fear into music.
