Fairy tales connect people across generations. They are an ancient means of passing on important messages and values. But do these old stories still fit into today's world? Inspired by this question, FAIR(Y) TALES combines stories from different cultures with fairy tales written by schoolchildren in Hamburg. A fresh and cheeky new fairy tale emerges on stage: with powerful images, new characters, dance, and text, FAIR(Y) TALES appeals to the head, heart, and senses. Children and adults work together in the team led by Brazilian-Hamburg choreographer Regina Rossi. They come from different cultures and speak several languages, are deaf or hearing, or at home in both worlds of perception. Together, they create a piece in German sign language and German.
FAIR(Y) TALES is a fairy tale for everyone who wants to explore new paths to a future full of imagination and friendship.
