GILGAMESH

Egotistical king Gilgamesh rules over the municipality of Uruk. The Gods confront him with his equal, Enkidu and the two become friends, setting off on a journey together in blockbuster format. They want their strengths to measure up against the whole world, until they reach the limits of their arrogance. The Gilgamesh epic is the world’s oldest story, passed down through the generations. The myth, preserved on clay tablets, is as fragmented as it is exemplary: Gilgamesh, the prototype of a human being, is searching for his purpose. He asks himself the question that has driven every action since the very beginning of humanity: How can I defeat death?
