Queer B-Cademy: Emotional Space Age

Visual artist Rory Midhani makes artwork about queer and trans people living their lives and loving it. He creates mixed-media pieces made by arranging carboard puppets, props & sets; as well as large-scale works including canvas paintings, murals, set designs & installations. He makes character-focused, narrative artworks which celebrate the lives of the queer community. His artworks have been featured in publications and exhibitions across Europe and North America.

The installation invites participants on to a distant space station, where they are given the opportunity to write down words of their personal experience on provided paper spacecrafts. Then they have a choice- to share their satellite of love with the universe, or to spaghettify it into a black hole, never to be seen again?
